The Evanston Aikido Center is a traditional Aikido dojo. It is a member dojo of the United States Aikido Federation (USAF), Yoshimitsu Yamada, 8th dan, chairman.
The chief instructor of the Evanston Aikido Center, Art Wise, 6th dan, is a certified instructor of the USAF. Mr. Wise is one of the founding members of the Midwest Aikido Center in Chicago where he studied Aikido with Akira Tohei Sensei, 8th dan, for twenty- five years. He is an instructor at the Midwest aikido Center, and continues his study of Aikido under the direction of Yamada Sensei.

Monday 7:00–8:15 pm – (Beginner Focused Class, Open To All) Tuesday 7:00–8:15 pm Wednesday 7:00–8:15 pm Thursday 7:00–8:15 pm Sunday 10:15–11:00 am There is currently no Kid's program, but we do allow those 14 years and over to train in the adult program with the approval of their parent or legal guardian. |
